Week 3 September 1-4

 We had another fun filled week in Pre-K! Please keep working on helping your child with writing their name and holding a pencil. This coming week, we will be celebrating 9-11 at Chapel on Wednesday. Feel free to join us for this special occasion. Please have your child wear red, white, and blue on Friday September 11th to honor 9-11 as well. I am so proud of the progress we have been making!

REMINDER: THERE IS NO SCHOOL THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH AND FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18! TEACHERS WILL BE AT A CONFERENCE! PRE-K WILL RESUME ON TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 22!

This week we will be introducing the letter "U". Please go over the card, capital letter, lower case letter, and the sound "U" makes. 

This week's Bible verse is Psalm 139:14 "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Week 2 August 25-28

Hello pre-K families!

Our first full week of school has come to an end! We had a very busy and productive week in our classroom. Everyone is working very hard and I am very proud of each of my students! In the upcoming weeks, we will be starting to learn our letters, their sounds, and how to write them. I will be attaching a letter card along with their memory verse card. Please go over the card with your child often.

This week will be starting with the letter “I”. Please go over the capital letter and the little letter as well as the sound. Please use the short vowel sound like igloo, insect, and ink.

Everyone did so well with their memory verse this week! I am so proud!

Our memory verse this week is John 1:3 “All things were made by Him.” Attached is the card just like the one sent home with your child.

Class Dojo

 Hello families! 

I am working on setting up our class dojo. This will be an easier way for us all to communicate! I have the link to join below. I will also send out a reminder in your child’s folder to add yourself to the dojo. Please be patient with me as I learn how to navigate this new program!

School Picture Day

 Please note that school picture day has been moved to  September 24! Your child will have an individual picture taken as well as a class picture. I will give out more information on how to order your child’s pictures closer to time! 

First Week!

 Hello families! What a week! New adventures, new friends, new routines! I am pleased to say we had a good first 2 days! There are still many bumps to smooth out and that's okay! We are still learning all the rules, how to line up, and listen. This all takes time! I can't wait to see everyone back at school on Tuesday!

I am posting our first weekly Bible verse! We will recite this verse as a class on Friday August 28. PLease review this verse with your child multiple times. We want to make this a habit! There will be a card for you to keep in your childs take home folder that looks like the one posted below!

Open House

 

Our Pre-K and 7th Grade Open House will be held on the same night! This is a great opportunity for you and your child to get accustomed to our school, check out our classroom, meet the teachers, make new friends, and so much more! I can't wait to see and meet everyone! I know God has BIG plans for us this school year! 

Welcome To Pre-K!

I am so excited to welcome our new students as they enter Pre-K for the 2026–2027 school year! This is such a special time filled with new experiences, friendships, and opportunities to grow. Throughout the year, we will have lots of fun exploring, creating, and playing together while also learning lots of new things! Our classroom will be a safe and happy place where every child can build confidence, develop important skills, and discover a love of learning. I can’t wait to get to know you and your kiddo more as we work through this year together! Let’s Rock this school year!
